During this past Lent, I was required to travel a lot for work, so I spent the many hours in flight reading the first volume of The Philokalia. For those who are not familiar with The Philokalia, descriptions can be found here and here. I am currently about half way through it, and have already found numerous gems of spiritual wisdom that I'll be sharing on this blog in the next few weeks. I pray you will find them as insightful as I have.
